Rootpal Review

Editor Review:

No hidden fees, no add-ons, it’s all included.

Despite being only a fairly new company, Rootpal is included in our list of top hosting providers due to it’s excellent value, generous plans, blazing fast hosting and very good service – and we should know, we’ve been using them for a few months now and I can honestly say it’s one of the best services I’ve used.

Unlike most hosting companies, Rootpal don’t offer low entry costs followed by high renewal fees – they just have a fair and simple pricing structure that stays the same from the moment you join, so there are no nasty surprises later on. They also include a lot of extras that others charge extra for, such as emails and backups.

Rootpal provides the Plesk control panel. I was worried about using Plesk (as I’d only ever used cPanel), however it was very easy to learn (within a day or two I had mastered it, and it was so straightforward and easy to use that I didn’t even need to use any documentation – except for setting up the email, as I couldn’t locate it), and now that I’ve used Plesk I can honestly say that I actually prefer it to cPanel – by a lot, actually. It is SOOO much “cleaner”, clearer and easier to use, and it has a few things that make managing websites easier too, such as showing thumbnails of all your websites in the control panel (which show you immediately when something is wrong with your site…) and doing backups in Plesk is also a breeze.

In short – Rootpal is Highly recommended. And if you have multiple websites I can recommend their “Scale” package (it’s only $10/month for 25 WordPress Websites, 100 GB SSD Storage, Unlimited visitors & Unlimited bandwidth).
